Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre has a great sense of humor except when someone touches the top of his head. This time, we’ve got a funny Beltre moment involving the top of his head.
It also involves Pat Venditte, the famous ambidextrous “switch-pitcher” now throwing for the Seattle Mariners. Venditte took the mound in the fifth inning on Monday, and Beltre had this reaction:
It’s a reminder that before Venditte made it to the majors, there was some confusion about just what batters could and couldn’t do during at-bats to switch sides like him.
When Venditte pitches, funny things happen.
