Eddie Lacy is going to cut his hair after being tackled by it in a game

Late in the first quarter of the Packers’ preseason game in San Francisco, Eddie Lacy got the edge on a pitch and had only one defensive back between him and the open field.
But before Lacy reached that last defender, he was pulled down from behind … by his hair.

Tackling a player by his hair is a legal move in the NFL. So if Lacy wants to avoid another follicle-based takedown, he will have to chop off his locks.
The question is, will he or won’t he?
“I’m debating after that,” Lacy said, via PackersNews.com. “I don’t know how many more of those I’d like to experience. We’re in camp. So I’ve got to wait until I get out of camp, and then I’ll assess it.”
Lacy has found a middle ground:
I'm not cutting my hair completely off just trimming it

The lesson here, kids: Shorter hair means longer runs.
