Minor League game delayed on account of sheep on the field

This sheep is the GOAT at delaying minor league baseball games.

So why did a sheep invade the State College Spikes’ game against the Batavia Muckdogs on Thursday? Sporting News has the answer:
“The Spikes booked Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey to perform between innings. Whiplash’s entourage included a couple of Barbados sheep and one of them escaped.”
It apparently escaped through a nook where the “Nookie Monster” (!) mascot comes out,
To paraphrase legendary Saturday Night Live character Stefon, this story has everything: A monkey riding a dog, an interrupting sheep and, yes, a Nookie Monster.
It’s basically the perfect summary of why Minor League baseball is so darn kooky.
