Shaq and Jason Williams' sons showed off their hoop skills at Shaq's house
Shaq’s son, Shareef O’Neal, and Jason Williams’ son, Jaxon Williams, played basketball together, along with other high school ballers Nassir Little and Ronaldo Segu. Home Team Hoops was there at Shaq’s house to put together a video of the session.
Shareef got in some monster dunks on Jaxon, and Jaxon pulled some moves as slick as his dad’s on Shareef. All four of the players were smiling throughout the video — four talented ballplayers in one gym is fun!
Nothing to see here, just a whole lot of good genes in one gym. As you can see in the above video, we've got Shaquille O'Neal's two boys, Shareef and Shaqir, who are joined by Jason Williams' son, Jaxon, in the private basketball court of Big Diesel's house.
This isn't the first time we're introduced to any of these kids. Shareef, who was reportedly entertaining offers from Baylor, USC, UCLA, Kansas State, and his father's alma mater, LSU, is just 16 years old, and already looks like a freak athlete. Meanwhile, Jaxon, or better yet, "White Chocolate Jr.," looks like a carbon copy of his pops at 13 years old. Does he have a handle similar to his father? Of course! Can he finish around the hoop like his father? Yup.
Now, we get to see the potential future of the NBA in one place. Shareef utilizes his height to score near the basket with a wide array of moves, but he's also got an impressive shot from downtown. Not bad for someone who is related to Shaq, a career 1-for-22 shooter from three-point range. Shaqir is still very young, but the mid-range game and handle are there. With every passing year, Jaxon is looking more and more like his father. His behind-the-back work is starting to look effortless, and did you see the elbow pass at the 38-second mark?!
While it's great to see the kids of these former NBA players ball out, let's address the elephant in the room. We're also starting to feel incredibly old.
