There are two incredible things about this clip from a race last month at Florida’s Gulfstream Park.

First: You’ll watch as Fallen Leaf heads towards the finish line, clearly in the lead and ready to claim victory, when out of nowhere, the filly decides to make an attempt at jumping over the rail, throwing its rider and finishing out of the money.

Second: Listen to the track announcer right before the finish. He noted Fallen Leaf had “no antics of any kind.” Then, without missing a beat, as her attempted leap failed: “And there we go with the antics.”

That right there is one of the all-time worst jinxes you’ll ever see.
