Little League coach visits the mound to tell his son that he loves him

The Little League World Series appearing on national TV every year is totally worth it just for moments like this.
During Monday’s consolation game between Italy and Oregon, head coach Joel Jensen called time with his son, Isaiah, throwing a shutout into the fifth inning. Joel wanted to let Isaiah know that he was going to take him out after the next batter, but most of all, Joel wanted to tell Isaiah just how much he loved him.

He said:
“Hey, I just came out to say how much I love you — as a dad and a player. OK? You’re doing awesome out here.”
Oregon’s road in the Little League World Series was coming to an end after that game. I’m sure the players and coaches wanted to make a deeper run, but really, that mound visit was exactly what’s great about the event. It was an experience that Isaiah will remember for a long time.
Nicely done.
