Nick Saban blames USC for heated exchange between Alabama players

Alabama rolled past USC on Saturday, but it wasn’t all smiles on the Crimson Tide sideline.
Just as Alabama began to pull away from USC in the second quarter, Crimson Tide players Ronnie Harrison, Deionte Thompson and Reuben Foster got into a heated argument near the bench.
At one point, Harrison pushed Thompson before Foster grabbed his jersey and told him to calm down. The exchange caught Saban’s attention as he tried to break up the argument as Foster stepped in.

Saban was asked about that incident on Monday, and he pinned Harrison’s emotional outburst on USC’s trash talking.
He said via al.com:
“There was a lot of trash talking going on from the other side, which that’s OK. That’s their choice. They can do whatever they want. I’m not being critical of that.”
Saban added that Harrison let that trash talk get the best of him.
Harrison has since apologized to his teammates. Saban went on:
“When you have a teammate who cares about you and is trying to help you, the response should be ‘Thank you,’ not ‘Screw you.'”
